This giveaway is hosted and administered by Eldorado Yacht Club, located in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada ("Sponsor"). All questions, claims, and correspondence related to this promotion should be directed to the Sponsor.
Eligibility
This giveaway is open to legal residents of British Columbia, Canada who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, contractors, agents, and immediate family members of Eldorado Yacht Club, Hotel Eldorado, Eldorado Resort, and Argus Properties are not eligible to enter or win.
By entering, participants confirm they meet all eligibility requirements. The Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time and to disqualify any participant who does not meet these criteria.
Promotion Period
The giveaway opens on May 31, 2026 and closes on June 7 at 6 PM Pacific Time. Entries submitted after the closing date and time will not be considered. The Sponsor's clock is the official timekeeping device for this promotion.
How to Enter
To receive one standard entry, participants must complete all four of the following steps during the promotion period:
Like the official giveaway post on the Eldorado Yacht Club Instagram account
Follow @eldoradoyachtclub on Instagram
Tag at least one friend in the comments of the giveaway post (each comment with a tagged friend counts as one entry)
Tagging multiple friends in separate comments is permitted and each qualifying comment will count as one additional entry. Self-tags and spam entries will be disqualified. Participants must maintain their follow for the duration of the promotion period. If an account is set to private, the Sponsor may be unable to verify eligibility.
Bonus Entry
Participants who share the official giveaway post to their Instagram Story and tag @eldoradoyachtclub will receive one bonus entry. The Sponsor must be able to view the Story to credit the bonus entry. This step is optional and not required to enter.
Prize Description
One (1) winner will receive the following prize package:
One four hour rental with the Cobalt CS22 or a pontoon boat
Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $1,000 CAD
The specific boat, rental duration, and inclusions are subject to availability and will be confirmed directly with the winner at the time of booking. The prize is non-transferable and must be used by the winner and their guest(s) during 2026, subject to availability and blackout dates as determined by the Sponsor.
Prize Conditions and Restrictions
The prize has no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or substituted
The prize is subject to availability; no alternate dates are guaranteed outside of the Sponsor's designated availability windows
All participants on the rental are subject to Eldorado Yacht Club's standard rental policies, waiver, and safety requirements
The rental is subject to weather conditions and lake safety determinations made by the Sponsor; the Sponsor reserves the right to reschedule at its sole discretion
Renters and guests must comply with all applicable boating regulations and Eldorado Yacht Club policies, including age requirements and any temporary boating license requirements
No alcohol consumption is permitted before or during the operation of any rental vessel
Applicable taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner
Winner Selection
One (1) winner will be selected through a random draw from all valid entries received during the promotion period. The draw will take place within five (5) business days of the giveaway closing date. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Winner Notification and Claiming
The winner will be contacted via Instagram direct message from the @eldoradoyachtclub account within 24 hours of the draw. The winner must respond within 36 hours of notification to claim their prize. If the selected winner does not respond within the claim period, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be drawn.
The Sponsor is not responsible for Instagram direct messages that are filtered, blocked, or otherwise not received by the winner.
Publicity
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that the Sponsor may announce their Instagram username publicly and reference their participation in this giveaway for promotional purposes, unless prohibited by applicable law.
Limitations of Liability
The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, or illegible entries. The Sponsor is not liable for any technical failures, internet connectivity issues, Instagram platform outages, or other circumstances beyond its control that may affect entry submission or prize fulfillment.
Participation in this giveaway constitutes acceptance of these official rules. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the giveaway at any time without notice if circumstances arise that compromise the integrity of the promotion.
General Conditions
The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, acts in bad faith, violates these rules, or engages in any conduct that the Sponsor deems harmful to the promotion. Any attempt to enter through fraudulent means, bot activity, or mass entry will result in immediate disqualification.
Privacy and Contact
Personal information collected through this giveaway, including Instagram handles, will be used solely for the purpose of administering the promotion and notifying the winner.
